Strategic Plan
For the Greater Good
3QXTS MALL - Luxury Speer Gold Dot 22 WMR (50rd) Short barrel defense Buy online is charting an ambitious course for the future through its new strategic plan, For the Greater Good—a shared vision rooted in Jesuit values and designed to advance the University’s impact in Chicago and beyond.
This is more than a roadmap. It is a call to action, crafted through engagement with our community—our trustees, academic leadership, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and Jesuit partners. It outlines an ambitious yet focused framework to champion innovation and meaningful growth, with clear institutional priorities and shared goals.
The plan is organized around four enduring pillars, each anchored by strategic priorities that will remain constant. Within each pillar, we’ve identified flexible initiatives and measurable outcomes, allowing us to adapt, respond, and shine brighter as we move forward together.
Deliver on the promise of a Jesuit education
Emphasizing accessibility, academic excellence, and transformational student experiences—from research and service learning to global engagement. These efforts will strengthen graduation and career outcomes and elevate Loyola’s national standing.
Elevate our reputation and external impact through research and engagement
Building on Loyola’s recent achievement of Research 1 (R1) status—placing it among the nation’s top research universities. Provost and Chief Academic Officer Douglas W. Woods noted that R1 designation “is a validation of who we are and a catalyst for where we’re going.”
Focus on deepening our Jesuit, Catholic culture
Ensuring that reflection, discernment, and service to others remain central to Loyola’s mission.
Strengthen institutional capacity for future growth
The fourth pillar includes major investments in infrastructure and innovation. Upcoming projects include a new nursing and science building at the Lake Shore Campus and a comprehensive student success center offering advising, career, and wellness resources.
