Thank you for your support of the Maroon and Gold Standards of Excellence, MAGSOE, online customer service training program. Consistent use of the MAGSOE program will increase student retention, improve internal client relationships and make the workplace more positive and productive.
Attached to this message are instructions on how you may enroll your team members into the MAGSOE program. A group, Library Services_Anne Reuland has already been created for your team; please add your team members to this group. In the future, if additional team members need to complete the training program simply use the attached instructions to grant them access to MAGSOE.
You and your team will have access to the program effective January 25, 2012 through February 27, 2012. In order to maximize the learning derived from the MAGSOE program a blended learning approach is strongly recommended. Blended learning means combining two or more learning methods. For example following the completion of the on-line program:
- conduct a group discussion about how using the skills from the program may improve service delivery
- assign team members with reading an article about the importance of good customer service
- create an on-line discussion board where the team members can share their success in using the MAGSOE skills to solve customer service problems
A blended learning approach will improve the transfer of skills to the workplace and increase the retention of what was learned.
